How Does A Spicy Turmeric Latte Help With Inflammatory

This hot medicinal drink is a dream for those of you who have inflammation pain and digestive issues. Although, these old world spices are a little intense in flavors it does the job. Most ailments start with inflammation so we make this drink often. I firmly believe in preventative medicine with natural herbs, spices and fruits and vegetables.

You may be wondering why this drink has black pepper in it. The turmeric and black pepper together helps absorption into the body by up to 2,000% when combining the two spices. It magnifies the effects. Making it a very potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compound. Black pepper is also a good source of manganese a mineral that can help with bone health.

The cinnamon helps with circulation, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibiotic and balances blood sugar. The ginger helps with indigestion, diabetes and is an anti-inflammatory as well. So the whole combination is a healthy alternative hot drink that I know you will love for your well being. Let’s get on top of helping our bodies and adding these spices into our diets.

How To Make Spicy Turmeric Latte

This is a drink that is easy to make. Just put all the ingredients together in a small pot on the stove on medium heat. Really the main magic in this recipe is to combine it together well with a whisk. The spices can clump up a bit so it is good to have a whisk to blend it up good.

When choosing a plant based milk I like coconut but you can choose whichever kind you like. Oat milk can be really nice because it really doesn’t have much flavor and you will really pick up the flavor of all the spices.

This recipe makes one serving. After you have poured it into a small mug you can top it off with a delicious cream. I like coconut cream or if you have a frothing machine you can top it off with some extra froth. Some cinnamon sprinkles or brown sugar or coconut sugar on top will add that little extra special something to enjoy. I hope you like this winter healthy hot drink. Enjoy!
