This is a drink that is easy to make. Just put all the ingredients together in a small pot on the stove on medium heat. Really the main magic in this recipe is to combine it together well with a whisk. The spices can clump up a bit so it is good to have a whisk to blend it up good.
When choosing a plant based milk I like coconut but you can choose whichever kind you like. Oat milk can be really nice because it really doesn’t have much flavor and you will really pick up the flavor of all the spices.
This recipe makes one serving. After you have poured it into a small mug you can top it off with a delicious cream. I like coconut cream or if you have a frothing machine you can top it off with some extra froth. Spicy Turmeric Latte
- 1 Small pot
- 1 Small whisk
- Measuring spoons
- Measuring cups
- 1 Small mug
- 1 cup Plant Based Milk
- 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- ½ tsp Ginger
- ½ tsp Turmeric
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- ¼ tsp Vanilla, omit if you are using vanilla flavor milk
- 2 dashes Black Pepper
- In a small pot on medium heat add the milk, maple syrup, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, vanilla and black pepper. Whisk all together until it is well blended. Heat to desired temperature and serve in a single small mug.
- Makes a 1 cup serving.
- Top with extra frothed plant based milk, your favorite vegan whipped cream and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon, coconut sugar, brown sugar. Very good just plan!
- If this drink is too thick and spicy just add extra hot milk.
