This little warrior has several essential oils that help exhibit these antimicrobials. Lets just name a few of it’s medical benefits. Basil is used for fluid retention, head colds, stomach spasms, kidney conditions, loss of appetite. As an antibacterial it fights against fungal species such as Candida and Cryptococcus. Olive Oil has been on a big craze in the last ten years or more. It has been around for ages but with the findings of it’s high content of polyphenols it has raised to the roof. Polyphenols are natural bioactive compounds that are antioxidants found in plants. The health benefit is that it combats stress that damages proteins, lipids and DNA. These polyphenols are cancer fighting, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective (protects nerve cells against damage) and antimicrobial properties.

The olive oils that are most beneficial are grown in dry climates in the Mediterranean areas. The ones that have the most polyphenols can be quite expensive. They are the ones that are very green. I find that it has a strong bit to it when you use it for dipping or just by the spoon full. You’ll know! It has kind of a green peppery (kinda burns after swallowing) taste to it as well. It is so good for you. Search the great ones out and give it a try. I didn’t like the strong taste at first but now I crave it.

I only use it for recipes such as medicinal remedies or old family recipes. WE! Do not like how bees are treated. That is why I use local responsible bee farms that feed their bees with the proper nutrition. Most big bee farmers do not feed their bees the right food and that is what makes the bees sick.

As most people know honey is one of the best remedies for soar throat’s. It is an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. Not to mention all the amazing natural unique health benefits that it has. I recommend researching all of these benefits. I do not want to list and promote using honey on a daily bases. If you get it for medicinal purposes just be mindful of who you get it from.

How To Make Natural Antibiotic Anti-Inflammatory Spread

I love these natural homemade remedies. They are just so helpful, easy and readily available right in your own kitchen. When making this Natural Antibiotic Anti-Inflammatory Spread I always use 2 to 3 chopped fresh garlics. It sounds like a lot but you want it to do the job and the honey calms down the extra sharpness of the garlic. That is really the most important thing to do is to use enough garlic. Just mix everything together in a small bowl, making sure to have enough olive oil. It is hard to emulsify the honey and olive oil together, but it will, so keep stirring. Then spread it on some organic toast and you’ll be feeling a little better soon. If you are really feeling bad please see a doctor.

Natural Antibiotic Anti-Inflammatory Spread

  • 1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp Organic Olive Oil, (extra if you need it for mixing or for a large piece of toast.)
  • 1 Tbsp Local Raw Honey
  • 3/4 tsp Ground Organic Turmeric
  • 3 to 4 dashes Ground Black Pepper
  • 5 to 7 Fresh Organic Basil Leaves, (chopped )
  • 2 to 3 med Organic Garlic, (minced small)


Natural Antibiotic Anti-Inflammatory Spread

  1. Clean the garlic and organic basil. Dry and chop the organic basil small and mince the fresh garlic. (Like in the YouTube video)
  2. Toast your toast in the toaster or toaster oven.
  3. In a small bowl add the organic olive oil, local raw honey, organic turmeric, ground black pepper, minced organic garlic and chopped organic fresh basil. Stir all the ingredients until they are well blended.
  4. Spread the mixture on toast. Serve warm or cold but it is best served right away. I hope you feel better!
